About the show

An honest perspective and unfiltered conversations about life and success as a hairstylist in a small town salon. Host Casey Taylor peels back the misconceptions about the beauty industry and what life is actually like as a small town stylist who refuses to be held back by location, population size, or anyone else's limiting beliefs. Sometimes she's sassy, other times she's vulnerable, but she is always honest and not afraid to shake the industry up a little bit. Subscribe and listen to better yourself and your business as a small town stylist.

It's ok to call out sick before Christmas

this from the vault episode of Morbid Hair History is the first one I ever recorded and posted to social media before uploading them to the podcast. What Mad Men can teach us about marketing in the beauty industry

Have you watched the iconic series Mad Men? It has a ton of lessons about marketing and you won't even feel like you're trying to learn anything while you binge watch this addictive series. I'm almost wondering if we should do a mini podcast series on the marketing lessons that stand out and tie back into your business strategy as a hairstylist. If you're interested in the idea, let me know!
