As a long-time fan of Anime and Manga, Jay Allen has been diving into Japanese history and culture for many years even before coming as a software engineer & technical writer turned journalist. Jay has been the publisher and chief writer of the popular site Unseen-Japan since 2018 and living in Tokyo, Japan full-time since 2024 writing and guiding tours for Tokyo's nightlife and lesser-known capitol city gems.
