Luke 24:1-12. At the dawn of Resurrection Day, Jesus’ disciples had no faith. Upon hearing the news of the resurrected Jesus, the disciples didn’t believe it. Faithlessness is a problem for all of us.
What do you see when you look into the empty tomb? A former Pastor of mine asked that on Facebook the other day. It got me to thinking. In this episode, I give you 4 things that I see when I look into the empty tomb. What do you see?
Mark 5:1-20, Jesus heals a man who was demon possessed. He tells the man that he can’t come with Jesus, but instead, to go into his town and people and proclaim the great things that Jesus did for Him. Sometimes we put more importance on those who leave their home to proclaim the Gospel, but we still need those who are willing to go into their towns, workplaces, homes and school to tell others what Jesus has done for them.
Today, we are studying selected passages from Mark 15 about Good Friday. The day that Jesus was crucified for your sins and mine. We are specifically looking at the mocking He endured for us. Thank you, Jesus!
As Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, people praised Him because of the miracles and works He had done. They were offering praise to Him. Jesus has done miracles and works in your life as well, when was the last time you praised Him?
As we continue studying the Triumphal Entry of Jesus, better known as Palm Sunday, I present a question for you to ponder, What message are you telling the world? Just like the people that lined the streets of Jerusalem and put palm branches and clothes down to make the way for Jesus, we need to make the way for Jesus as well. Throughout Scripture, Repent was preached. We need to proclaim that people need to repent. What message are you giving?
Many of us are holding on to things that is hindering our relationship with the Lord. It is also hurting our praise. Today, we look at how dangerous it is for our faith to hold on to things we don’t heed to hold on to.
A week before His crucifixion, multitudes lined the streets praising Him as He passed by, it’s what we call Palm Sunday. When was the last time you raised your palms in praise to Jesus?
