In a recent interview on Stager Talk, Shell Brodnax, the CEO of RESA® (Real Estate Staging Association), spoke with Kevin Grant, the current leader of RESA Jacksonville, FL Chapter, and Rosemary Lopez-Gonzalez, the Jacksonville Chapter President Elect, about their chapter being named RESA® Chapter of the Year. The chapter's strategy involved longer, in-depth meetings with multiple speakers, providing valuable content to attendees. Rosemary highlighted the success of these sessions, featuring speakers on current trends and topics in staging. They also discussed how incorporating professional organizers and real estate agents broadened their reach, creating a holistic approach to staging and design. Kevin Grant explained their innovative approach of charging for individual meetings instead of relying solely on chapter dues, which expanded their audience, including both real estate agents and stagers. This approach resulted in more engaged meetings, increased membership, and better-quality sessions. Overall, the Jacksonville Chapter's success story serves as an inspiring example of adapting, evolving, and expanding the scope of staging and design services within the community.
