OWE is an initiative that aims to empower and support women in excelling in non-traditional careers. Many women often feel like they don't belong in industries such as construction, manufacturing, plumbing, and HVAC due to societal stereotypes that undermine their abilities. OWE challenges these misconceptions by showcasing real-life examples, like myself, who have proven that any woman can learn the necessary skills and thrive in non-traditional careers.

We are so fortunate to host a rising young star in the skilled trades. 💪 Honestly, we feel so inspired and hopeful for the future when we hear them speak and see what they are accomplishing in their daily lives. Situated in the greater Sudbury area, which is the largest city in population in Northern Ontario, Jessica Duquette is carving out an impressive career as an Industrial Millwright at Vale Canada Limited, a global company, that practices sustainable mining as well as focuses on improving life and transforming our lives for the better. Pat has over 30 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
