In 2018 I purchased my first home after paying off 50K debt in 2.5 years. At the time I believed this was the right decision but 3 years later I feel like I made a mistake and needed a reset. Getting into real estate wasn't the mistake. No, no, no far from it! But my lack of knowledge and homebuyer mindset lead me to purchasing the wrong type of property.
