The podcast is inspired by Little Kitchen Academy and the purpose-driven, passionate individuals and companies involved with the brand who are changing lives from scratch. In the process of building Little Kitchen, co-founders Felicity and Brian Curin grew a burgeoning community of like-minded, passionate, interesting individuals with vast experience and expertise. Through meaningful conversations with their growing LKA Family, the spark of an idea formed to create a podcast that would share the people, practices, and stories from this network of individuals committed to creating a healthier world. We’re celebrating the 50th episode of Meet Me in the Kitchen by welcoming our newest partners, nine-time NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook and his extremely accomplished wife Nina Westbrook. After witnessing the positive impact Little Kitchen Academy had on their son, the philanthropic couple is bringing their Why Not? Foundation to LKA in a joint initiative to establish the Changing Lives From Scratch Fund. Seven Ring Service: Sam Schachter

The First Family of Little Kitchen Academy: Katie, Mateo and Emilia Calles Huitson

With over 100,000 student visits to Little Kitchen Academy, there have been a vast number of children and families who’ve had their lives changed from scratch. Among them are Katie Huitson and her children Mateo and Emilia, who were in the first ever class when LKA opened in June of 2019.
