What Should Bitcoin Teach the Next Generation? | Kristýna Mazánková

What should the next generation actually learn about Bitcoin?

Kristýna Mazánková is helping answer that question in a very practical way.

As Director of the English-language Master in Bitcoin at Hesperides University, Kris is helping build a university curriculum designed around Bitcoin - from economics and monetary history to mining, technology, business, communication, and the wider ecosystem.

Her perspective is also shaped by years of working at the intersection of Bitcoin media and events. Through The Bitcoin Conference, she has watched the ecosystem grow across very different audiences - from institutions and enterprises to developers, first-time attendees, and long-time Bitcoiners.

In this episode of Life with Bitcoin, Ivy Lumi sits down with her former colleague to go behind the scenes of building the Master in Bitcoin program: how do you decide what belongs in a Bitcoin degree? Who should teach it? How do you balance principles, professional skills, and technical understanding? And how do you expose students to different perspectives without simply handing them conclusions?

The conversation also opens into Kris’s personal journey - from growing up with family memories of communist-era, to discovering Bitcoin, becoming a parent, working across generations in the Bitcoin industry, and learning how to stay curious while going deeper into the rabbit hole.

We also explore:

⚡ What the next generation of Bitcoin professionals should actually learn

🎓 Why Bitcoin education needs both principles and real-world professional skills

🧠 How to preserve critical thinking while building conviction

🌍 What years of Bitcoin conferences have taught Kris about people and community

👨‍👩‍👧 Parenting, education, and taking responsibility for what we pass on

₿ Why Kris sees Bitcoin as long-term security amid short-term uncertainty

❤️ Why positive stories may create more lasting change than fear

🌱 What she hopes students from the program will contribute twenty years from now

Because education isn’t only about what we know.

It’s about what that knowledge allows us to do with our lives.

What do you think Bitcoin should teach the next generation?

Bitcoin #BitcoinEducation #LifeWithBitcoin #HesperidesUniversity

⚡ Connect with Kris & Information about Master in Bitcoin at Hesperides University

https://x.com/MaKristyn

https://hesperides.edu.es/estudios/master-in-bitcoin-global-edition/

🎙️ Follow Ivy Lumi & Support Life with Bitcoin:

https://x.com/LifewBitcoin

https://x.com/btcviv

https://x.com/ivylumi

ivylumi.com

https://primal.net/ivylumi

Suffering From Success: When Winning Is Not Enough | Brandon Hawk

What happens after you achieve everything you thought you wanted?

For many Bitcoiners, entrepreneurs, athletes, and high performers, success is supposed to be the destination. Work hard, win, achieve financial freedom, and life should finally make sense.

But what happens when you get there and still feel something is missing?

In this episode of Life with Bitcoin, I sit down with Brandon Hawk — former professional tennis player, transformational coach, and author of the bestselling book YOU.

By the age of 21, Brandon had already achieved his childhood dream, competing in the main draw of Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. When injury brought that chapter to an end, he began a deeper search into identity, purpose, fulfillment, and what truly drives human growth.

We explore why achievement often fails to provide lasting fulfillment, the hidden challenges many successful people face, and what Brandon calls the "different move" that becomes available when the old game no longer feels enough.

This conversation isn't about Bitcoin markets or price action. It's about the human journey that often follows success, and the question many people eventually face:

"If I've already won, now what?"

Topics discussed:

• Life after achieving a lifelong dream

• Identity beyond performance and achievement

• Why success doesn't always lead to fulfillment

• The hidden ceiling many high performers encounter

• Capacity, purpose, and personal growth

• Blind spots and self-awareness

• Relationships, honesty, and connection

• What comes after financial freedom

• Meaning, responsibility, and living well

This episode was made possible by Proof of Heart, a program focused on helping Bitcoiners navigate the transition from accumulation and achievement toward greater clarity, purpose, and contribution. You can learn more about Brandon and Proof of Heart in the link below.

If this conversation resonates, consider subscribing, leaving a comment, and sharing it with someone who may be navigating a similar season of life.

Find Brandon & Proof of Heart:

https://brandonhawk.com/

https://x.com/RealBrandonHawk

https://www.proofofheart.com/

https://x.com/ProofOfHeartHQ

https://primal.net/Proof_of_Heart

Follow Ivy Lumi & Life with Bitcoin:

https://x.com/LifewBitcoin

https://x.com/btcviv

https://primal.net/ivylumi

https://x.com/IvyLumi

ivylumi.com

Bitcoin #LifeWithBitcoin #PersonalGrowth #Success #Purpose #SelfImprovement #BitcoinPodcast #BrandonHawk #FinancialFreedom #Meaning

You Are Responsible For Your Own Healing w/ Roberto Rios, aka Peruvian Bull

What happens when you stop hiding and choose to show up fully — in Bitcoin, in work, and in life? In this episode of Life with Bitcoin, btcviv sits down with her guest, Roberto Rios, aka Peruvian Bull, to explore the deeply personal decision to step out from behind a pseudonym and into public life.

Together, they unpack the emotional, professional, and philosophical implications of identity, authenticity, and growth in a world shaped by #finance , #technology , and constant noise. This conversation moves beyond charts and headlines into the human side of #Bitcoin — where credibility is built through integrity, relationships matter as much as ideas, and personal resilience becomes the real long-term strategy.

From #macroeconomics and #history to mental health, #healing , and #purpose , this episode is a reminder that “fixing the money” is only one part of the work. If you’ve ever wrestled with fear of judgment, struggled to balance logic and intuition, or questioned what authenticity really costs — and gives back — this episode is for you.

In this episode, we explore:

Going public after years behind a pseudonym

Identity, authenticity, and credibility in the Bitcoin space

Why anonymity can both protect and limit growth

The role of upbringing, curiosity, and self-education

Balancing macro analysis with storytelling and meaning

Signal vs. noise in a chaotic information landscape

Bitcoin’s promise — and its limits — as a societal solution

Personal resilience, mental health, and responsibility

Facing inner darkness as part of self-discovery and healing

Why the process of growth matters as much as the outcome

Integrating Bitcoin as Our Best Mirror w/ Uncle Rockstar Dev, in Hong Kong

In this in-person episode filmed in Hong Kong, August 2025, btcviv sat down with Uncle Rockstar Dev for a deep, human conversation about Bitcoin, identity, trauma, and the untapped potential within each of us.

This episode goes beyond technology or price talk. It looks at the inner journey that often begins when someone discovers Bitcoin. As Rockstar shares, “Bitcoin is not the answer, it’s the key”—a key that can unlock parts of ourselves we’ve ignored, suppressed, or underestimated.

One line stayed with me long after we wrapped:

“Bitcoin is not the answer, it’s the key.”

Not a promise that Bitcoin will fix your life… but an invitation.

A doorway into understanding yourself more deeply, questioning who you are, and exploring who you could be.

Through that lens, we dive into:

🔍How Bitcoin becomes a catalyst for examining old wounds and limiting stories

⚖️The relationship between technology, identity, and personal growth

*⃣How past trauma shapes the way we approach risk, autonomy, and possibility

🚇Why Bitcoin can serve as a gateway to new opportunities and new versions of the self

🫂How engaging with Bitcoin can surface deeper questions about who we are becoming

This episode looks at the human side of Bitcoin — the internal transformation that begins when you stop asking what Bitcoin can solve and start asking what it can reveal.
