In her role as a DEI professional, Whitney works with law firms throughout the country to create more racially equitable and safe work environments. To this end, she employs a variety of tools including facilitating focus groups, providing trainings, and conducting organizational assessments. Whitney is also an attorney at the Southern Center for Human Rights where she uses the law as a tool of advocacy for decriminalization and decarceration. Whitney is an abolitionist without all the answers, so she is actively exploring alternatives to the present day carceral State and would love to learn from others about other models for accountability. Whitney is a double graduate of Seattle University, where she earned her Bachelor of Social Work and her law degrees.
