People of Faith | Pastor Grant Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

This sermon focuses on Hebrews 11:29 and the story of Israel crossing the Red Sea by faith, emphasizing that God not only brought His people out of Egypt but also brought them through impossible situations and into His promises. The message compares Israel’s deliverance through the Passover to Christian salvation, teaching that Jesus Christ is the true Passover Lamb whose sacrifice frees believers from sin and bondage. Just as God rescued Israel from slavery, salvation is presented as God's work, not human effort, moving people from darkness into His kingdom. The Red Sea crossing demonstrates that God often leads His people into situations where there is no human solution so that His power and glory can be revealed. The sermon encourages believers to trust God during trials, stand firm in faith, reject fear and complaining, and continue moving forward even when circumstances seem impossible. It highlights that faith requires action, noting that the waters parted only after the Israelites stepped forward in obedience. The crossing is also presented as a picture of baptism and Christ’s death and resurrection, where sin is buried forever and believers are raised to new life. Finally, the message reminds listeners that God wants their lives to be defined not by failures but by faith, trusting Him to bring them out of bondage, through difficulties, and into His promises.

Faith to Choose | Pastor Daniel Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

The sermon focuses on the theme of “Faith to Choose” from Hebrews 11:24–29, highlighting the faith of Moses. As Moses grew up, he made a deliberate choice to identify with God’s people rather than enjoy the temporary privileges and wealth of Egypt. By faith, he valued obedience to God above earthly treasures and was willing to endure suffering for a greater eternal reward. Moses trusted God even when he could not see the outcome, persevering because he kept his eyes on the invisible God. His faith was demonstrated through actions such as observing the Passover and leading Israel through the Red Sea. These events show that genuine faith requires difficult choices, steadfast trust, and obedience to God’s direction. The message challenges believers to choose God’s purposes over temporary comforts and to live by faith in every season of life.

A Mother’s Faith | Pastor Grant Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

The message “A Mother’s Faith” focuses on the story of The Bible figures Abraham and Sarah, showing how God fulfilled His promise despite impossible circumstances. God promised they would become the parents of a great nation, even though Sarah was unable to have children and both were very old. During years of waiting, Abraham and Sarah struggled with doubt, impatience, and poor decisions, including involving Hagar in an attempt to force God’s plan to happen. Their mistakes caused conflict and division in the family, yet God still remained faithful to His promises. The sermon emphasizes that God often works through broken and imperfect people, proving that no one is beyond His grace or purpose. It also contrasts living by human effort and law with living by faith and God’s grace, teaching that true fulfillment comes from trusting Him rather than relying on ourselves. Eventually, after twenty-five years of waiting, God miraculously gave them a son, Isaac, whose name means laughter, showing that God’s timing and provision are perfect. The story ultimately points to faith, surrender, and God’s provision through Jesus, encouraging believers to trust God with their future, families, and deepest struggles.

The Paradox of Faith | Pastor Daniel Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

In this sermon, “The Paradox of Faith,” we walk through Hebrews 11 and the life of Abraham to discover what it means to have both the faith to GO and the faith to STAY. Abraham obeyed God even when he did not know where he was going, and he remained faithful even when he never fully saw the promise fulfilled in his lifetime. His story reminds us that faith is not about having all the answers. It is about trusting a faithful God one step at a time.𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘We’d love to connect with you! Faithful Obedience | Pastor Corbett Casteen | Liberty Live Church

In this sermon, “Working Faith: Noah’s Obedience,” we walk through Hebrews 11:7 and the story of Noah in Genesis 6–9. In a world filled with wickedness and rebellion, Noah stood out as a man who walked with God. By faith, Noah obeyed God even when he could not see the outcome, understand every detail, or escape the opinions of the people around him.We are reminded that faithful obedience believes God when it cannot see, fears God over man, and keeps moving forward even when the questions feel overwhelming. Noah did not build the ark because it made sense to everyone else. He built it because God spoke. His faith was not passive. It was active, working, and obedient.𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘We’d love to connect with you! What Pleases God? | Pastor Grant Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

In this sermon, “What Pleases God?”, we walk through Hebrews 11 and are reminded that faith is not just something we say we have. It is something we live. Looking at the lives of Abel and Enoch, we see that a life that pleases God is marked by priority, consistency, and trust.Abel teaches us to give God our first and our best, not what is left over. Faith is revealed in what we prioritize, and what is first in our lives shows what matters most to us. Enoch shows us that faith is not just a moment but a daily walk. It is choosing to walk with God in the ordinary, staying consistent even when no one is watching.𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘We’d love to connect with you! What is Faith? | Pastor Grant Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

In this sermon, “What Is Faith?”, we begin our By Faith series in Hebrews 11 and are reminded that faith is not wishful thinking, it is confidence in who God is and trust in what He has said. It is not about the size of your faith, but the object of your faith. We are challenged to move beyond feelings and into action. Real faith obeys God even when it does not make sense and holds onto hope when life feels uncertain. When hope fades, faith struggles, so we must fix our eyes on God’s promises and not the world around us.God does not use perfect people, He uses people who trust Him. So take the next step. Walk by faith, not by sight.
