The Church in Ephesus | Pastor Daniel Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

Jesus commended the church in Ephesus for their hard work, endurance, intolerance of evil, discernment of false teaching, and willingness to persevere through persecution. However, despite doing many things right, they had abandoned their first love and were no longer pursuing Jesus with the same passion they once had. Their example shows that it is possible to serve God, defend truth, and endure hardship while losing the love and relationship that should motivate everything we do. Jesus calls them to remember how far they had fallen, repent by turning away from what caused them to grow cold, and return to the works and passionate pursuit they had at first. This reminds us that our service and ministry mean little if they are not rooted in a genuine love for Jesus, because the Christian life is ultimately about loving Him in response to His love for us. Jesus gives us the same invitation today: to examine our hearts, return to our first love, and fully commit our lives to Him. Run with Endurance | Pastor Daniel Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

What does it look like to run the Christian life with endurance? In this message from our series Look to Jesus, Pastor Daniel walks through Hebrews 12:1-3 and challenges us to keep running the race God has set before us. The Christian life is not a sprint. It is an endurance race that requires consistency, perseverance, and a steady focus on Jesus.Pastor Daniel shares four truths from this passage:1. The Race Is Set Before You God has a purpose, calling, and mission for your life. Are you running the race He has set before you?2. Run with Endurance The Christian life requires consistency and stamina. We are called to keep pressing forward, even when the journey is difficult.3. Look to Jesus Jesus is our ultimate example of endurance. When we keep our eyes on Him, the challenges around us lose their ability to define our perspective.4. Don’t Give Up You may feel tired, behind, or discouraged, but the race isn’t over. Keep going. The goal is to finish well.“The key to the Christian life is enduring to the end.”The race is set before you. Run with endurance. Look to Jesus. Don’t give up.

Throw Off the Sin | Pastor Grant Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

The message “ Throw Off the Sin ” explains that sin is not merely an action but a rebellion against God that began with Satan and entered humanity through Adam and Eve. Because all people are born with a sinful nature, sin separates us from God and produces death, brokenness, and destruction. Sin also acts as a snare, using things such as fear of people, wrong relationships, sexual immorality, greed, pride, and selfish desires to entangle and destroy us. Hebrews 12 calls believers to throw off every sin and continually put away the old nature while putting on the new, making holiness a daily process of following Christ. We cannot overcome sin through our own strength or wisdom, because salvation and freedom from sin come only through Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. Therefore, instead of trusting ourselves or the standards of culture, we must keep our eyes on Jesus, who took our sin upon Himself so that through Him we could receive the righteousness of God. Throw Off the Weight | Pastor Grant Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

This sermon introduces the first week of a 21-day series, "Looking Unto Jesus," based on Hebrews 12:1–3, emphasizing that believers can only run their spiritual raceby keeping their focus on Jesus. Drawing from the "Hall of Faith" in Hebrews 11, it reminds Christians that imperfect men and women of faith finished their race and now encourage others to persevere. The message teaches that God has a unique purpose for every believer and challenges them toidentify and remove the "weights"—such as distractions, comparison, unhealthy habits, discouragement, and unbelief—that slow their spiritual growth, even if those things are not sinful. It stresses that the Christian life is centered on a relationship with Jesus rather than simply following rules, and encourages believers to develop and share their personal testimony of God's work in their lives. The sermon also highlights the value of prayer and fasting during the 21 days as a way to refocus on God and eliminate distractions thathinder faith. Finally, it calls believers to trust God's promises, pray with faith and endurance, and remain confident that God will strengthen them to fulfill the purpose He has prepared for them. Unbreakable Faith | Pastor Zac Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

This message " Unbreakable Faith " from Hebrews 11 teaches that true faith is unbreakable, whether God brings miraculous breakthroughs or allows believers to endure suffering. The chapter highlights examples of God's power through people like Sarah, Moses, Daniel, and Elijah, reminding us that nothing is impossible for God. It also emphasizes that many faithful believers, including the prophets and early Christians, experienced persecution, imprisonment, and even death without losing their faith. The sermon explains that faith is not measured by earthly outcomes but by trusting and obeying God in every circumstance, whether in victory or hardship. Jesus Himself demonstrated perfect faith by entering a broken world, suffering, and dying on the cross so that believers could have eternal hope. Ultimately, unbreakable faith rests in God's unchanging love, knowing that nothing—not even death—can separate His people from Him. Faith of the Nation| Pastor Grant Ethridge | Liberty Live Church

The message “Faith for the Nation” teaches that God works through ordinary people who faithfully serve Him, using David, Samuel, Jeremiah, and Daniel as examples of courage, conviction, and service. David’s life shows that God values the heart over outward appearance, prepares people in private before using them publicly, and gives victory to those who trust Him rather than their own strength. Samuel demonstrates the importance of calling people back to God through prayer, repentance, and unwavering commitment to biblical truth, while drawing connections between faith and America’s founding principles. Jeremiah reminds believers to seek the good of their communities by praying, serving, and investing where God has placed them, recognizing both freedom and responsibility as gifts from God. Daniel illustrates how Christians can faithfully serve society with integrity and excellence while remaining loyal to God even when facing pressure, persecution, or opposition. The central message is that preserving a nation and honoring God requires believers to stand courageously for truth, speak with biblical conviction, serve others humbly, and trust God to overcome every giant they face.
