From Country Music to Worship to Healed from Cancer! Chat with Jamie White

Growing up a city girl in Southern California, Jamie knew that singing and writing were what she was born to do. She sang on worship teams, show choirs, concert choirs, cruise ships, and dinner theaters. She also had a heart for country music, which led her to move to Nashville in 2001.Although Jamie has had much success over her 20-year career in country music, she felt a nagging, a calling, and a tug to return to her roots. As she puts it… “I’m returning to my first love, where God put a song in my heart, and made my tongue dance for him.”With the release of her new single “Devil Ain’t Gonna” in Summer 2025, she is excited to be back in the studio and making music again. She is also working on her very first book, and can’t wait to share it with the world.Jamie is also a cancer survivor and a health and fitness enthusiast. She resides in Bedford County, just outside Nashville, with her husband, Lou, and their fur babies.
