A former professional photographer to a celebrated author - Kim Gottlieb-Walker

I had a wonderful conversation with Kim. She has a great sense of humor and I love it. She is now in her 70s and still moving around and being productive. I had the pleasure of chatting with Sandy, and let me tell you, her energy is contagious! I could easily spend all day talking to her. We had such a relaxed vibe, which made for an incredibly enjoyable conversation. She shared a hilarious story from her days as a wedding planner seriously, it was too wild to be made up! Sandy and her husband, Bill, organized over 500 destination weddings in the Caribbean during an incredible 11-year run before Hurricane Maria changed everything. They've witnessed some jaw-dropping moments that most genteel families wouldn't dare mention after the celebration ends.
