'Blind Side' Star Quinton Aaron Hospitalized on Life Support, Shows Signs of Improvement Quinton Aaron, the actor best known for his portrayal of Michael Oher in the hit film "The Blind Side," is currently on life support following a collapse at his home, though his family reports he is showing hopeful signs of recovery. According to his wife, Margarita, the actor opened his eyes on January 26, 2026, and was able to give a "thumbs up". Medical Condition and Recovery Aaron has been hospitalized for four days and, while he remains on life support, the medical devices are not doing all the work. His wife reports that he is partially breathing on his own and showing more signs of improvement with each passing day.
