258 | The Life You Keep Postponing

This past winter, I named a desire I'd carried for years, along with a long list of practical reasons why it couldn't happen this summer. Within about thirty seconds, the reasons had already won.Except the desire didn't go away. 257 | What My Father's Death and a Record-Breaking Heat Wave Taught Me About My Business

This past month handed me two things I didn't plan for: my father's death, and a record-breaking heat wave that made our apartment in Bordeaux uninhabitable for two weeks.Both came back-to-back, with no warning and no gradual transition.
