MISSION MONDAY | Morning routines, dream journals and a rainforest day trip

The group checks in on how the new morning routines are actually going — dream journals, yoga and making the bed every day. Results are mixed but the commitment is there. Next week Sam and Maddy are heading to the Dandenong Ranges in honour of World Rainforest Day, which is either a great idea or a very cold one given it's winter. MOVIE MONDAY | About Time

In the spirit of reflecting on the year so far, Sam and Maddy watch About Time — the 2013 romantic drama that doesn't get nearly enough credit. Sam is a firm believer, Maddy is a convert, and Natalie weighed in from afar with her own take. If you haven't seen it yet, consider this your sign. INTERVIEW | Melbourne's most magical winter night out is back

Sam and Loui chat with Kara Ward, director of creative and tourism programming at Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, ahead of Lightscape opening this week. They get into what the experience actually involves, what's new this season, whether two consecutive Victorian Tourism Award gold wins add pressure to keep raising the bar, and the specific installations worth seeking out on the night.  Presenters: Sam Kelly and Loui Harrison Executive Producers: Ella Le Fournour and Sam Kelly We're live weekdays on SYN from 7:30am 📻 And weekends from 8:00am 📻 Stay in the loop @GetCerealSYN Email us via getcereal@syn.org.auSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

MIDWEEK CONFESSIONS | Sam ran for nothing and Loui couldn't keep it together

Loui had a bit of a moment in public — what started as a simple wave at a friend turned into an uncontrollable giggle fit that was very hard to explain. Sam meanwhile spotted his train and made a full sprint for it, only to find out it was running late the whole time. Two very public displays of losing the plot. FULL SHOW | The Sopranos, a giggle fit and an unnecessary sprint

Midweek confessions are relatable this week — Loui descended into a giggle fit while waving at a friend that got away from them quickly, and Sam ran for a train that turned out to be running late. Classic. On this day in 2007 the Sopranos aired its controversial finale, so Sam and Loui get into that ending and the other TV conclusions that still don't sit right. Kara Ward from Lightscape joins the show to preview their event opening this week before Sam and Loui close out with a moment of midweek gratitude. FULL SHOW | Ducks, Disney and Travelling Back to the Futur

Matilda and Natalie started the morning with a nod to National Donald Duck Day, setting the tone for a very duck-inspired show. With ducks already on the brain, they jumped into a classic “would you rather” question: would you rather take on one giant horse-sized duck, or one hundred duck-sized horses? They then travelled back to Back to the Future Part II, looking at the movie’s predictions and discussing which inventions they think should have existed by now. To finish the show, they kept the Disney energy going with a quiz to find out which Disney character they are, before challenging themselves to guess what Donald Duck was actually saying. DONALD DUCK DAY | Quack Quack… What Did He Say?

For National Donald Duck Day, we prepared a little dialogue between Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. And apparently, Donald had a lot to say. Check it out and see if you can figure out what he’s trying to tell us.
