G Line 2.0 Interview with Modern Times, Inc - Martha Valenzuela

Thank you for joining us for G Line 2.0 the podcast for small and disabled veteran businesses seeking opportunities on the LA Metro G Line Bus Rapid Transit Improvements project. We are Valley Transit Partners, a joint venture of Stacy and Witbeck, Flatiron West, and Modern Railway Systems.The G Line is an existing bus route within a dedicated corridor running through the San Fernando Valley.  It extends from the North Hollywood B-Line station to the Chatsworth Metrolink Station in the northwest of the valley.  The G-Line BRT Improvements Project will improve the existing Bus Rapid Transit system by reducing travel times and improving safety.  The project is being delivered via progressive design-build and is currently in the first phase, which is great news because the most significant subcontracting opportunities are still to come.Today we welcome special guest Martha Valenzuela, with Modern Times, Inc to discuss how the SBE/DVBE business community can successfully navigate and work in a virtual world.

This team was formed with the purpose of combining the strengths of our firms to provide LA Metro and the communities along the G Line corridor with the expertise necessary to maximize the benefit of their investment in the G Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Improvements project.We’re excited to launch this innovative way of engaging, and keeping informed, the small business community as well as the Disadvantaged Veteran Business enterprise community regarding opportunities to work with our team.
