Employee knowledge as the “organisational brain” Employees closest to the work hold valuable expertise, ideas and experience—including insights about AI and process improvements. Proactive organisations create the psychological safety and channels needed to share this knowledge; reactive ones trap it in functional silos. Why continuous adaptation is essential Customer demands, technology and employee expectations are constantly evolving. Organisations therefore need curiosity, integrated systems thinking and a willingness to experiment—not rigid procedures designed to preserve the status quo.
