From one-off event to industry movement: The BMPAN story
In this episode of the DIFF podcast, Jemel Edwards is joined by Atlyn Forde and Aleka Gutzmore, two of the three co-founders of the Black Mortgage Professionals & Allies Network (BMPAN). They discuss how BMPAN grew from what was originally intended to be a one-off Black History Month event into a growing industry community. They explore why network was needed, the impact it has made so far and the importance of creating meaningful connections, career opportunities and greater representation across the mortgage industry.
