International Standards of Practice for Inspecting Commercial Properties (ComSOP) 2026

The International Standards of Practice for Inspecting Commercial Properties (ComSOP) is free for use by all. The ComSOP is the industry-accepted standard for commercial property inspectors and serves as the foundation for all education and certification offered by the Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association® (CCPIA®). Its nine core sections outline the inspection process, reporting practices, inclusions and exclusions, and the ethics inspectors follow.
