Join me as I interview Ryan Daughtridge of Bustin Boards. Ryan took his passion of skateboarding and turned it into a full-blown successful business. A Hagerstown native who went to Syracuse to play soccer, then quit the team and later his job to design skateboards. He turned that passion into a company, Bustin Boards, and in 2016 entered into a partnership with Under Armour founder Kevin Plank. It all started at the beach in 2001 where he took his first skateboard ride. It's a beautiful story of what can come of a strong work ethic and a never quit attitude. It has not been easy, it even includes a love story and it's anything but over! Ryan's story is sure to encourage any 9 to 5 Rebel whether on the journey or preparing to launch into being the boss!!! Tim Kellinger - Co-Owner and Head Trainer of Crossfit301Elite of Hagerstown, MD, shares his journey from walking away from a full-time job with benefits to opening the doors to his dream of owning of Gym where he can inspire elite athletes. Tim experienced a gym owner's worse night mare, being forced to close the doors during the pandemic of 2020. Tim's mindset and drive has kept him going, his servants heart toward his members has caused them to stay the course with him believing better days are ahead. Brad and Bekah Murphy did their research, quit their jobs, bought a farm and began a journey as 9 to 5 Rebels. While deployed and serving his country Brad spent some time in books finding a path as a farmer providing quality feed that would affect the food chain. His wife Bekah was a big influence in educating him about the effect his food had on his health and as he dug deeper into the origins of our food starting with what the cattle eat, he knew he found his passion and his purpose.
