Putting Myself Back on the List: A Health Reset at 42
I'm turning 42 next weekend, and somewhere between leaving TV news, raising two kids, and building this media path, I let a slow drift happen with my health — and I finally see the full picture. This episode is me on the journey, not ahead of it. I'm talking honestly about what shifts in your early 40s (the recovery, the sleep, the hormones, the not-feeling-comfortable-in-your-skin), and the exact strategy I'm using to find my way back: getting around sweaty, determined people, investing in a trainer, getting outside, and discovering that tennis might be my activity soulmate. I also found out something I'd forgotten — I'm a competitor, and she's still in there. If you've felt that nudge too, especially as a caregiver who never makes her own list, come along with me. In this episode: The slow drift and the turning point so many women hit in their 40s Why community and "investing next to" people works better than willpower Tennis, Pilates, the YMCA, and rediscovering my inner athlete The one honest question that starts the whole journey Why I'm doing this publicly (and why it's so humbling) Say hello on Instagram: @letishabereola Subscribe and watch the show on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LetishavBereola Speaking, hosting, event inquiries: Media@groupparadigm.co Join Letisha's email list: https://letishabereola.myflodesk.com/with-everything
