Behind the Scenes of Our Biggest Shop Launch Yet

In this episode, I'm taking you behind the scenes of one of the biggest projects we've ever worked on inside In Flow Design Co. What started as "let's add a few matching Canva templates" quickly turned into a massive shop relaunch featuring over 170 new designs across our website template collections.   I'm sharing the real story behind this launch, including why we decided to build full Canva template suites for our customers, how this project completely snowballed behind the scenes, and what it actually looks like to scale digital products while running a business, managing client work, and navigating motherhood at the same time.   We're talking about: Why cohesive branding matters beyond just your website The strategy behind our new template suites The operational side of building a large-scale digital product launch How customer demand shaped this entire expansion What I've learned about systems, scalability, and creating a more connected brand experience Plus, I'm sharing a little sneak peek into the upcoming shop relaunch, new website template, and launch promotion coming next month.   If you're a business owner who loves branding, design, customer experience, or hearing the real behind-the-scenes of building a creative business, this episode is for you.

Are You Losing Half Your Website Visitors? Why Mobile Experience Matters More Than You Think

What if half the people landing on your website are quietly leaving… without ever inquiring? That's not a dramatic take. It's reality. For most travel advisors, around 50% of website traffic is coming from mobile. And yet, mobile is often the most overlooked part of the design process. In this episode, I'm breaking down what actually makes or breaks your mobile experience and how small design missteps could be costing you real inquiries. We're not talking about a full redesign. We're talking about the subtle friction points that cause someone to click away before they ever reach your inquiry form. Inside this episode, you'll learn: Why mobile experience directly impacts your inquiries (not just aesthetics) The biggest functionality mistakes that instantly lose trust How readability and spacing can either guide or overwhelm your visitors What to look for when reviewing your mobile site in your editor Simple fixes you can make today to create a smoother, more elevated experience If your website "technically works" but isn't converting the way you want it to, this might be the missing piece. Because the truth is simple: If your mobile experience isn't seamless, you're not just losing traffic… you're losing opportunities.

The Biggest Changes I Made in My Business in the Last 12 Months (And What Actually Worked)

The past year pulled me back into the day-to-day of my business in a way I hadn't experienced in a long time—and it changed everything. After maternity leave, a team shift, and stepping back into project management, I got a clear, unfiltered look at what was actually happening behind the scenes. What was working, what wasn't, and where things were more complicated than they needed to be. In this episode, I'm breaking down the biggest changes I made over the last 12 months—from streamlining client feedback and tightening timelines to simplifying onboarding, introducing a new offer, and finally taking control of my marketing. Some of these shifts worked immediately. Some things I thought would improve the business… didn't. But every single one of them led to a business that runs cleaner, faster, and with far more intention. If you've ever felt like things in your business technically "work" but still feel heavier than they should, this episode will show you exactly where to look—and what to change. In this episode, I cover: The operational changes that instantly improved client experience What I simplified (and what I completely cut) The shift that reduced project overlap and mental load Why relying on referrals isn't a long-term strategy The one change I wish I had implemented much sooner

How to Get More Inquiries From Your Travel Advisor Website

If your travel advisor website isn't bringing in consistent inquiries, there are usually two reasons: Not enough people are finding you. Or the people who are visiting… aren't converting. In this episode, I'm breaking down why most travel advisor websites struggle to generate inquiries—and the specific shifts that change that. Because a website doesn't create demand just by existing. And traffic alone doesn't lead to clients if your site isn't positioned to convert. We're talking about how traffic and conversion actually work together—and what needs to be in place for your website to start working as a true client attractor. Inside this episode: Why your website isn't generating inquiries (and how to identify which problem you actually have) The biggest misconception about websites and traffic What your website needs to communicate immediately to build trust How positioning impacts whether someone inquires or clicks away The role design plays in perceived credibility and client quality Common mobile experience mistakes that quietly cost you inquiries How to capture leads from people who aren't ready yet Read the full article → https://inflowdesignco.com/travel-advisor-website-inquiries

A Rollercoaster of a Year: The Highs, the Lows, the Lessons, and What Comes Next

Some years expand you. Others strip you down and rebuild you. In this episode, I'm reflecting on a year that held both — the highest highs and some of the most challenging seasons I've navigated as a founder and a mom. From welcoming our second son, Max, and witnessing the growing bond between my boys, to returning to Australia for the first time in years and reconnecting with a part of myself I deeply missed. I also share honestly about the harder parts: a long stretch of lower income, inconsistent childcare, stepping back into project management after a team shift, and what it was like to carry more of the business during an already full season of life. But more than a recap, this episode is about what those moments required of me — the calm, focus, and discernment that only come from experience. I talk about the lessons that emerged from being back inside the business, the ideas that were born under pressure, and why this past year felt less like a breakdown and more like a shedding. Finally, I share the vision that's now guiding our next chapter — not as a distant dream, but as a grounded, shared commitment. A season of simplicity, focus, and stability. A life and business built with intention, not urgency. If you've ever found yourself in a season that felt heavy, uncertain, or slower than expected, this episode is a reminder that clarity often comes on the other side of shedding.

When Everything Feels Important: How to Choose What to Work on Next

Let's talk about that feeling when everything on your list seems important—like, "If I don't do this right now, my business might stall out." Whether you're in the middle of a big project or just trying to keep up with the day-to-day, it's easy to feel pulled in a million different directions. Between managing clients, building your brand, keeping your website updated, and nurturing your leads—it can feel like every single thing deserves top billing.   I get it because I've been there, too. As a creative and entrepreneur, my brain is always buzzing with ideas—new offers, marketing strategies, design tweaks, website upgrades. Sometimes it's an endless stream of inspiration that makes me want to dive in headfirst to all the new things—like launching that dream product, creating a brand-new design package, or giving my website a complete makeover.   But then there are days when it's not just ideas that are overwhelming—it's the to-do list that never seems to end. The client emails, the project updates, the invoices, the little admin tasks that multiply faster than your kid's laundry pile. That's when everything starts to feel urgent, and it's tough to figure out what deserves your focus first.   If you've ever found yourself wondering, "Where should I start?" or "How do I decide what's actually worth my time right now?"—this post is for you. I'm sharing my process for tackling both scenarios: when you're overflowing with ideas you can't wait to bring to life, and when you're drowning in tasks that all seem equally important.   So let's dive in and figure out how to cut through the noise—so your energy, time, and resources go to the things that truly matter (like finally getting that website redesign done so your brand shines as bright as your ideas).
