What is going on these days with the Linux Professional Institute (LPI)? I sat down with Matthew Rice, the current Executive Director of LPI to find out! Way back in 1998/99, I was one of the co-founders of LPI, still today the leading independent certification program for Linux administrators. I haven’t been involved in 20 years but was recently inducted into the LPI “Hall of Fellows” - https://www.lpi.org/hall-of-fellows/ - and Matt Rice visited me in Vermont to give me an actual physical award.
