Episode 2: These Are the Days to Build the Dream

What if you could be deeply grateful for today… and still dream bigger for tomorrow? So often we think we have to choose between being present and pursuing our dreams. Between family and ambition. Between enjoying the season we’re in and wanting more. But what if we don’t have to choose? In Episode 2 of the These Are the Days series, Jen Keller talks about what it really means to build the dream while still living the life you’re building it for. Because the dream isn’t built in the big, picture-perfect moments. It’s built in the early mornings, the hard conversations, the small wins, the setbacks, the faith, and the decision to keep showing up. This episode is a reminder that you can love where you are and still believe there is more ahead. You’ll be encouraged to: Stop waiting until you feel “ready.” Separate purpose from the pressure to prove yourself. Build without losing yourself in the process. Define what success actually means for you. Celebrate the small wins along the way. Remember that the people you’re building for are part of the dream—not an interruption to it. Your dream matters. But so does the life happening while you build it. Because someday, you’ll look back and realize… these were the days. Listen to Episode 2 of The Jen Keller Show and ask yourself: What am I building right now—and am I actually present enough to enjoy it? In a world where being perfect seems to be the goal- - it’s important that we know who’s we are & who we are. We aren’t called to be perfect - we are called to be better today than yesterday! - that’s it. It doesn’t have to be quantum leaps, in fact I believe that in the day to day -our little steps in the right directions! I am on a mission to help women become more of who they were created to be and less of who they were told to be. And, that takes intention, that takes action : My goal is to drop some wisdom, bring you resources and that takes community. The real unlock is the Inner Work, and that’s what we do here! Episode 1: These Are the Days You’ll Miss Someday

We’re all guilty of it. Rushing to the next milestone. Waiting for life to slow down. Believing we’ll be happier “when…” But what if the life you’ve been waiting for is the one you’re living right now? In the first episode of the These Are the Days series, Jen Keller invites you to pause and take a fresh look at the ordinary moments that so often pass us by. If you’ve ever felt like life is moving too fast, this conversation is for you. In this episode you’ll discover: Why we spend so much of life waiting for “someday.” How to find joy in the ordinary. Simple practices to become more present every day. Why gratitude is something we practice—not something we wait to feel. How to embrace this season before it becomes a memory. Because one day, you’ll look back and realize… These were the days. In a world where being perfect seems to be the goal- - it’s important that we know who’s we are & who we are. When Your Child’s Heart Hurts: Walking Beside Them Without Taking Over

Watching your child navigate friendship struggles is one of the hardest parts of parenting. Whether they’re feeling left out, experiencing rejection, facing conflict, or learning from a mistake they made, every instinct in us wants to protect them, fix it, or make the hurt disappear. But what if our greatest role isn’t rescuing them from every hard moment… it’s walking beside them through it? In this episode, Jen shares a heartfelt conversation about parenting through friendship challenges with grace, wisdom, and faith. She explores how our own past hurts can influence the way we respond, why it’s important to give our children space to grow, and how we can help them develop kindness, courage, discernment, and confidence rooted in who God created them to be. This episode is a reminder that we’re not raising children who will never experience pain—we’re raising future adults who will know how to respond to it with character, compassion, and conviction. If you’ve ever struggled with knowing when to step in, when to step back, or how to help your child find their voice without using it to wound others, this conversation is for you. In this episode, you’ll learn: How to recognize when you’re parenting from your own wounds. The difference between guiding your child and trying to control the outcome. Practical questions that build wisdom instead of dependence. How to help your child use their voice with both courage and kindness. Why character matters more than popularity. How faith can anchor your child through every friendship season. Because our children don’t need parents who can fix every problem. They need parents who will faithfully walk beside them—and continually point them back to the One who never leaves their side. I also think this episode could end with one simple question that stays with your listeners long after it’s over: “Am I raising a child who always needs me to solve their problems, or am I raising a child who knows how to seek God’s wisdom when life gets hard?” That’s the kind of reflection that can make this episode especially memorable. Teaching Our Kids How to Handle Disappointment

As parents, watching our kids hurt can feel harder than experiencing disappointment ourselves. Our instinct is to fix it, protect them, or make the pain go away. But what if disappointment isn’t something we’re supposed to rescue them from? What if it’s one of life’s greatest teachers? In this episode, I’m sharing lessons I’m learning right alongside my own daughters. We’ll talk about how to help our kids process disappointment in healthy ways, build resilience, regulate emotions, and develop the kind of character that will serve them long after childhood. This isn’t about raising kids who never struggle—it’s about raising adults who know how to get back up. If you’ve ever watched your child lose a game, not make the team, experience rejection, or have their heart broken, this conversation is for you. In a world where being perfect seems to be the goal- - it’s important that we know who’s we are & who we are. We aren’t called to be perfect - we are called to be better today than yesterday! - that’s it. Protect the Energy, Expand the Life

We often say we want more—more peace, more joy, more impact, more abundance—but how often do we stop and ask ourselves if we actually have space for it? In this episode of The Jen Keller Show , we’re talking about the connection between boundaries, energy, and the life you’re creating. Because the truth is, every “yes” costs something, and if we’re not intentional, we can find ourselves exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from the things that matter most. I share why protecting your energy isn’t selfish—it’s stewardship. We’ll explore how your thoughts, words, relationships, commitments, and daily habits are either creating space for abundance or crowding it out. If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, constantly reacting instead of leading your life, or craving more peace and purpose, this conversation is for you. In This Episode: Why boundaries are about creating space, not building walls The relationship between your energy and your ability to show up fully How your thoughts and words shape your reality Recognizing what is draining you versus what is fueling you The power of intentional living Why abundance often requires subtraction before addition Practical ways to protect your peace and reclaim your time Key Reminder: You don’t create a full life by filling every space on your calendar. You create a full life by being intentional about what gets access to your time, energy, mind, and heart. What you allow grows. What you protect thrives. The Borderline of Complacency

Have you ever looked around at your life and realized nothing is necessarily wrong… but something feels off? You’re showing up. You’re checking the boxes. You’re doing what needs to be done. Yet underneath it all, there’s a quiet feeling that you’ve stopped growing. In this episode of The Project You Podcast , I dive into what I call Borderline Complacency —that dangerous middle ground where you’re not moving backward, but you’re no longer intentionally moving forward either. This isn’t about laziness. In fact, many high-achieving women and leaders find themselves here. Life gets busy. Business gets demanding. Family needs increase. And before we know it, we’ve shifted from living intentionally to simply maintaining. In this conversation, I share my own experiences with recognizing complacency in different seasons of life and the subtle signs that helped me realize I was settling for comfort instead of growth. In This Episode, We Discuss: The difference between contentment and complacency Why successful people are often most vulnerable to becoming comfortable The subtle signs that you’ve stopped challenging yourself How routine can quietly become a limitation The cost of staying in a season longer than you’re meant to Why growth often requires discomfort and uncertainty Questions to ask yourself if you feel stuck Practical ways to reignite momentum in your health, business, relationships, and personal growth Questions for Reflection: Where have I become comfortable? What have I been tolerating that no longer aligns with who I’m becoming? Am I growing intentionally or simply maintaining? What is one area of my life that needs renewed attention and action? What would the next version of me do differently? Key Takeaway: Complacency rarely announces itself. It sneaks in through comfort, routine, and familiarity. The challenge isn’t always avoiding failure—sometimes it’s refusing to settle for less growth than you’re capable of. Your next level may not require a complete reinvention. It may simply require an honest look at where you’ve stopped stretching yourself. Connect With Me If this episode resonated with you, share it with a friend, take a screenshot, and tag me on social media. I’d love to hear where you may be experiencing borderline complacency and what action you’re taking to move forward. Remember: Growth doesn’t happen by accident. The life you’re building is shaped by the small decisions you make every day. The Hardest Growth Is Continual Growth

Have you ever felt like you’re learning the same lesson over and over again? After taking a few weeks away from the microphone, I found myself wrestling with something I think we all face: regression. Not the dramatic kind that sends your life off the rails, but the subtle kind that makes you wonder, “Why am I still working on this?” In this episode, I’m sharing why I stepped back, what I’ve been learning in the quiet, and how growth isn’t always about breakthrough moments. Sometimes the hardest growth is continual growth—the daily choice to keep showing up, keep doing the work, and keep refining the same lessons life keeps placing in front of you. We’ll talk about: • Why regression doesn’t mean you’re failing • The difference between starting over and starting from experience • How life often repeats lessons until we fully embrace them • Why sustainable growth is less glamorous than transformation stories—but far more powerful • How to stay committed when progress feels slow If you’ve been frustrated by old patterns resurfacing or wondering why certain lessons keep finding you, this conversation is for you. Because growth isn’t proving you’ve arrived. It’s having the courage to keep becoming. In a world where being perfect seems to be the goal- - it’s important that we know who’s we are & who we are. We aren’t called to be perfect - we are called to be better today than yesterday! - that’s it. Your External Reflects Your Internal

Your environment is not just where you are—it’s shaping who you are becoming. In this episode, we dive into the powerful connection between your external world and your internal reality. The spaces you occupy, the conversations you entertain, the people you surround yourself with—they are either reinforcing your growth or quietly keeping you stuck. If you’re feeling misaligned, unmotivated, or disconnected from the person you know you’re meant to be, it may not be a discipline problem—it may be an environment problem. I’m breaking down how to evaluate your current environment, recognize what’s no longer serving you, and intentionally build a life that supports your energy, your goals, and your calling. Because the truth is, you can’t expect to become someone new while staying in spaces that were built for the old version of you. This episode will challenge you to take ownership of what’s around you so you can fully step into who you were created to be. In a world where being perfect seems to be the goal- - it’s important that we know who’s we are & who we are. Leading Through Life While Living It

There’s a version of leadership no one talks about enough—the kind that doesn’t happen when everything is perfect, but in the middle of the mess, the growth, and the uncertainty. In this episode, I’m talking about what it really means to go first—to be the one who chooses courage, discipline, and faith when it would be easier to wait. To be the person others can look to, not because you have it all figured out, but because you’re willing to walk through it. But this is also a reminder I needed myself… These are the days. The ones we’ll look back on years from now and wish we could step into just one more time. The ordinary, the hard, the beautiful, the stretching seasons—we’re living in them right now. So the question becomes: Are you rushing through it… or are you leading through it? Are you waiting… or are you going first? This episode will challenge you to: Step into leadership in your real, everyday life Stop waiting for the “perfect time” Become someone others can draw strength from And most importantly… be present enough to actually live the life you’re building Because one day, this moment will matter more than you realize.
