Life Together 3: Philippians 2:1-11 The Christ Hymn Our lives should follow the pattern of Jesus’ life. He left Heaven, becoming nothing, being obedient and humble so that when he is raised up and exalted, we too can live a life in this shape. Jesus didn’t teach us how to live; he taught us how to die so that God can exalt us too. When we live this way, we automatically put the interests and care of others above care and exaltation of self. Christ-like communities are therefore rooted in humility and one another-ness.
