Fixing Leadership for the future Leadership's current paradigm sucks. If you are a leader according several research companies seven out of ten employees have a negative view of you as a leader. Nearly the same amount of employees aren't engaged in their work, which is one of a leader's primary objectives. Why over decades has this been the case and still is the case today? Primarily because the leadership paradigm hasn't changed in decades. Leadership development has cost businesses and governments billions of dollars annually over decades and we still are teaching the same thing we were teaching fifty years ago. Here we are today with no significant increase in positive leadership perception. It is time to change the leadership paradigm and change leadership development.
