Rethinking Odor Control with Dr. Keri Lestage

In this episode of Kismet Tech Talks, CEO Shari Costantini sits down with Dr. Keri Lestage, Kismet’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, to rethink what odor control can mean at the material level.Odor is often treated as a nuisance to be covered up, but in many environments, it can be a signal of something deeper: surface contamination, bacterial activity, trapped chemical compounds, or product performance challenges. Dr. Lestage discusses how Kismet’s technology is being explored for odor control across surfaces, textiles, and product applications where traditional solutions may only mask the problem instead of addressing it at the source. The conversation covers the difference between absorbing chemical odors and helping reduce bacteria-related odors, why long-lasting surface performance matters, and how ingredient-level innovation could create new opportunities for product developers, manufacturers, and industries looking for smarter odor control solutions.Listen in to learn how Kismet is helping reframe odor control from a fragrance challenge into a material science opportunity.Ready to reimagine the power of clean?
