Ep. 62 The Transformation of Relationships After Pursuing Christ ft. Olivia Gentilini

Send us Fan MailOlivia's first dive into her faith started with a house fire. Her boyfriend (now fiance) had lost everything, and she felt lost, confused, and heartbroken. At the time, neither of them had a relationship with Christ, but something was missing. As their relationship with Christ evolved, as did their own adventure. They had been living in a completely different way, and now wanted to center their relationship around Christ. Olivia dives into how their physical intimacy changed, and the challenges that came with it. As well as her role in the relationship to submit to her partner. "Submission is easier when you have the right person leading you. That doesn't mean it isn't hard on occasion. It's still hard to follow God sometimes, but we need to know and trust Him enough to surrender to Him in the most dire times." Support the show

Ep. # 60 Not Everyday is Christmas Morning (and that's OKAY) with Amanda Johnson

Send us Fan MailAmanda joins us, who ran her first half marathon at age 50, stopped being a full-time nurse to pursue her dreams, and is navigating what life looks like to be single for the first time in years. As Amanda dives into her new calling, she knows God is placing this gym community in her life for a reason. We talk about how the real work is done outside the gym. We train hard to build muscles and get strong, but the muscles are actually being built outside the gym, as we spend time in recovery & nourishing our bodies. We spend time in church, bible studies, or in the word, and the real faith is being built when we apply those things into our day-to-day conversations, experiences, and people. When we experience an injury, we often take extensive time to recover. Resting & rehabbing the injury. When something happens in our lives that shakes us, we need to take the time to address the pain & rehab the emotional pain, just as we would physically. Romans 5:1-5. Ep. #59 “Discernment in an Ever-Changing World" with Jenna Andrawos

Send us Fan MailIn an ever-changing world, how do we navigate a never-changing God? We’re back with our girl Jenna! What does discernment look like in our own lives? How do we know what to follow? What's true? How do we disciple those around us? Noteworthy Comments:When you feed the soul, that’s when transformation happens1 John 4:1-6 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” Support the show
