Is it women's intuition or simply projection? How to know the difference (224)
And this is where some of the sayings we repeat—especially among women—can become really misleading. We hear things like, “A woman’s intuition is never wrong.” “Trust your gut.” “Your body never lies.” “Energy doesn’t lie.” “If you’re confused, that’s your answer.” “No response is a response.” “If it feels off, it is off.” And my personal favorite: “If he wanted to, he would.” These sayings are popular because they contain a little piece of truth. But a little piece of truth can become dangerous when we treat it like the whole truth. Your body may not be lying—but that does not mean you are interpreting its message correctly. Your body may be accurately saying, “This feels familiar.” But familiar does not automatically mean dangerous. Your stomach may tighten because someone is dishonest. It may also tighten because someone is emotionally available, and real intimacy feels terrifying when you are accustomed to chasing unavailable people. You may feel confused because someone is manipulating you. Or you may feel confused because the situation is complex, you do not have enough information yet, and your nervous system is demanding an immediate answer. Someone’s energy may have changed. That does not automatically mean they are angry with you, betraying you, rejecting you, or secretly planning their escape. You may have correctly noticed the change while completely misinterpreting what caused it. And “if he wanted to, he would” sounds empowering until we remember that human beings are complicated. People can want something and still be scared. They can care and communicate poorly. They can love you and still lack the capacity to give you what you need. Now, their reasons do not obligate you to stay. Your needs still matter. But there is a difference between saying, “This relationship does not meet my needs,” and declaring, “My intuition tells me he never cared.” One is a boundary rooted in your present reality. The other may be a painful story created to give you certainty. Even “no response is a response” needs nuance. Silence gives you information, absolutely. But it does not give you the authority to invent the other person’s thoughts, feelings, motives, and entire psychological profile. We have to stop treating interpretation as intuition. The sensation may be real. The shift may be real. The discomfort may be real. But the story we attach to it still needs discernment. So yes, trust your gut—but question the story your wounds immediately build around what your gut noticed. Book a session with me

Chiron retrograde has arrived: The Astrology behind your money, self-worth & subconscious wounds resurfacing right now (223)
Chiron Retrograde Has Arrived: The Astrology Behind Your Money, Self-Worth & Subconscious Wounds Resurfacing Right Now Chiron just stationed retrograde in Taurus — the first time since 1983. Here's what it means for your money, self-worth & subconscious healing. On August 3rd, 2026, Chiron — astrology's wounded healer — stationed retrograde at zero degrees Taurus, the first Chiron retrograde in Taurus since 1983. In this episode, I break down what Chiron actually represents in astrology, why Taurus is the sign of money, security, the body, and self-worth, and what happens when the wounded healer moves through the sign of "am I safe, am I enough, do I deserve this." I'm connecting this transit directly to the subconscious reprogramming and nervous-system work I teach every week — because Chiron in Taurus isn't a mindset issue, it's a safety issue, and your subconscious mind and nervous system are where this wound actually lives, long before it shows up as a thought about money or worth. I also get personal: my own natal Chiron sits at 29° Taurus, and I walk through what that means for my own Chiron return — plus what it means if you were born between 1976 and 1984, because your natal Chiron is in Taurus too, and this entire astrological chapter is speaking directly to you. By the end of this episode, you'll understand the astrology, the psychology, and the subconscious patterning behind why old wounds around money, safety, and self-worth have been surfacing lately — and a handful of practical, body-based ways to work with it instead of around it. In This Episode 00:00 — Cold open: what shifted in the sky on August 3rd 00:45 — The news: Chiron's full 2026–2027 retrograde timeline, explained 02:00 — What Chiron represents in astrology (the wounded healer myth) 04:00 — What Taurus represents (money, body, security, self-worth) 7:00 — Chiron in Taurus: what the wound is actually about + the subconscious/nervous-system connection 8:00 — My Chiron return story — and what it means if you were born 1976–1984 10:00 — Practical, subconscious-informed ways to navigate this retrograde 12:00 — Recap + what's coming with eclipse season (Solar Eclipse in Leo, August 12th) Key Takeaways Chiron stationed retrograde at 0°52′ Taurus on August 3, 2026 — the first Chiron retrograde in Taurus since 1983. This retrograde is a preview: Chiron doesn't settle into Taurus for its full ~7-year transit until April 2027. Taurus rules the 2nd house — money, possessions, values, and self-worth — plus the body itself. Chiron in Taurus asks you to notice, not fix, where your sense of safety and worth actually live in your body and subconscious mind, not just your thoughts. A true Chiron return happens once in a lifetime, around ages 46–53, when transiting Chiron reaches your exact natal degree. If you were born between 1976 and 1984, your natal Chiron is in Taurus — this multi-year transit is your story too. Subconscious reprogramming and nervous-system regulation are the practical tools for working with this transit, not just journaling or mindset shifts. Quotable Moments "Chiron isn't the wound you overcome. It's the wound you learn to carry differently." "This isn't a mindset issue. It's a safety issue. Your subconscious and your nervous system knew before your thoughts did." "This week isn't my Chiron return. It's page one of the story that leads to it." Frequently Asked Questions What does Chiron retrograde mean? Chiron retrograde is a period when Chiron appears to move backward through the zodiac, turning the wounded-healer archetype inward. Rather than acting or fixing, retrograde periods invite reflection on where a core wound already lives in your subconscious patterning and nervous system. What does Chiron in Taurus mean? Chiron in Taurus brings the wounded-healer energy into the sign of money, security, the body, and self-worth. It can surface old subconscious beliefs about not being safe, not having enough, or not deserving stability — wounds that often live in the body and nervous system before they ever show up as a conscious thought. What is a Chiron return? A Chiron return happens once in a lifetime, typically between ages 46 and 53, when transiting Chiron returns to the exact degree it occupied at your birth. It's considered one of the major midlife astrological turning points, often triggering a deep review of core wounds and an invitation to finally heal them. When is the next Chiron retrograde in 2026? Chiron stationed retrograde on August 3, 2026, at 0°52′ Taurus, and remains retrograde until it stations direct on January 6, 2027, at 26°16′ Aries. It fully re-enters Taurus for a multi-year transit on April 14, 2027. How do you heal a Chiron wound? Chiron wounds respond best to slow, body-based healing rather than quick fixes — think subconscious reprogramming, nervous-system regulation, somatic practices, and compassionate self-witnessing, rather than trying to think or journal your way past them. Who is most affected by Chiron in Taurus? Anyone with natal Chiron in Taurus feels this transit most directly — that's generally people born between 1976 and 1984, who will move through their own Chiron return sometime during this multi-year Taurus chapter. In this deeply personal manifesto episode, Aubrey Bahr shares the heart behind The Sacred Momentum—a space where subconscious healing becomes embodied movement, intuition becomes aligned action, and faith becomes active participation in your life. Aubrey explores what it means to move forward without abandoning your body, overriding your nervous system, or pressuring yourself to heal faster. This episode is for the deeply feeling woman, healer, entrepreneur, mother, creative, cycle-breaker, or spiritual seeker who knows she is becoming—but no longer wants to brutalize herself into transformation. You're not STUCK, you are in between waves. Navigating slower seasons in your business and life. (221)
You’re Not Stuck—You’re Between Waves What if your slower season isn’t a sign that you’ve lost your momentum, creativity, ambition, or purpose? What if you’re simply between waves? After taking an unplanned two-month break from the podcast, I’m back—but not with a perfectly packaged breakthrough, a major announcement, or a brand-new course to sell you. I’m returning from a season of moving slowly, creating differently, resting more, and learning how to sit in the unknown without turning it into a problem. I don’t feel lost. I don’t even feel stuck. I know I’m where I’m supposed to be, and I have a deep intuitive sense that something big is coming. I just can’t see it clearly yet. Right now, I’m riding a wave that feels less like surfing and more like floating around the lazy river—and strangely, I’m completely okay with that. In this episode, we’re talking about what it means to trust the quiet seasons of life and business—especially when you aren’t producing, launching, posting consistently, or chasing the next goal. We’ll explore the difference between being stuck and being still, how to trust divine timing, and why a lack of visible progress doesn’t necessarily mean that nothing is happening. This conversation is for the entrepreneur, creative, coach, healer, content creator, or intuitive woman who feels like she should be doing more—but knows deep down that forcing productivity isn’t the answer. If you’ve been experiencing a creative block, burnout, low motivation, content fatigue, nervous system exhaustion, or uncertainty about your next chapter, this episode will help you look at your season through a different lens. We’ll talk about releasing productivity guilt, resting without feeling lazy, and staying connected to your intuition when you don’t have a clear plan. We’ll also explore how creativity can continue to move through you even when it isn’t becoming content, a podcast episode, a course, a launch, or something you can monetize. Because maybe your creativity hasn’t disappeared. Maybe it has simply stopped performing for an audience. Sometimes personal growth looks like expansion, action, and visible momentum. Other times, it looks like slowing down, regulating your nervous system, following your curiosity, reconnecting with yourself, and allowing your next direction to reveal itself naturally. Not every season needs to be optimized. Not every pause needs to become a breakthrough. And not every chapter of your life needs to produce something tangible in order to be meaningful. In this episode, we explore: How to sit in uncertainty without spiraling or forcing an answer The difference between feeling stuck and moving slowly How to trust your intuition when you don’t know what comes next Why rest is not the same as losing momentum The connection between nervous system regulation, burnout, and creativity How to release guilt around productivity and inconsistent content What it means to create without performing, posting, or monetizing How to recognize the difference between intuitive timing and fear-based avoidance Why quiet seasons can be an important part of personal growth and spiritual alignment How to trust yourself, your purpose, and God’s timing when the path ahead isn’t clear If you’re navigating a life transition, business transition, identity shift, spiritual awakening, creative drought, healing season, or an uncomfortable period of not knowing, I hope this episode gives you permission to stop treating yourself like a mystery that needs to be solved. You may not be falling behind. You may not have lost your purpose. You may simply be in the sacred space between what was and what’s coming next. You are allowed to be in motion without being in a hurry. You are allowed to rest without losing your momentum. And you are allowed to sit in the unknown without calling yourself stuck. From scarcity to trust: Healing my money mindset through the nervous system (219)
Today’s episode is raw, personal, and honestly… a full-circle moment in my journey with scarcity and money. A long-time client of mine—someone I’ve worked with consistently for nearly two years—recently told me she needed to pause her sessions. And while that might not sound like a big deal on the surface, moments like this used to trigger everything in me: financial anxiety, fear of losing income, overthinking what it meant for my future. But this time… I didn’t spiral. In this episode, I’m sharing what actually changed. We’re talking about: What scarcity mindset really is (and why it has nothing to do with how much money you have) How childhood experiences shape your relationship with money and safety Growing up in financial instability and how that impacted my nervous system The difference between reacting from fear vs responding from trust How I handled a real-life “loss of income” moment with peace instead of panic Why healing your nervous system is the key to shifting your money mindset Letting money come and go without attaching your identity to it Trusting God’s provision in a way that actually feels grounded and real I also share the exact moment I realized something had shifted in me—when I paused her membership, looked at the full financial exchange over time, and felt nothing but gratitude. No fear. No lack. No gripping. Just peace. If you’ve ever struggled with scarcity, financial stress, fear of losing money, or feeling like you have to hold everything together to stay safe… this episode will meet you right where you are. This isn’t about toxic positivity or pretending everything is abundant. This is about creating real, embodied safety—so you can experience money, business, and life differently. ✨ WORK WITH ME If this episode spoke to you and you’re ready to shift your relationship with money, safety, and subconscious patterns, I’d love to support you. 🔗 Book a 1:1 session with me here

When your Intuition goes quiet: Why overthinking isn’t the problem (217)
In this episode, we’re diving into something so many women experience but rarely understand: the connection between your nervous system and your intuition. If you’ve been feeling confused, foggy, or unsure about your next step in life, business, or relationships, you’re not alone. Many high-achieving women assume that when clarity disappears, it means they’re doing something wrong. They think they need to analyze harder, gather more information, or force a decision. But the truth is much deeper. Your intuition isn’t broken. Often, it’s simply being drowned out by a nervous system that is in survival mode. When your body perceives stress, uncertainty, or change as a threat, it activates protective responses designed to keep you safe. In this state, your brain prioritizes control, prediction, and problem-solving rather than intuition and inner knowing. That’s why the more you try to “figure things out,” the more confusing everything can feel. In this episode, we explore how nervous system dysregulation can block your intuition, why high-achieving women often struggle with this pattern, and how learning to regulate your body can reconnect you to your inner guidance. You’ll learn why clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder, but from creating internal safety. We also talk about the emotional and psychological patterns that keep many women stuck in overthinking, control, and constant decision fatigue—and how those patterns can disconnect you from your deeper wisdom. If you’ve ever felt stuck between two choices, unsure of your next step, or disconnected from your usual sense of direction, this episode will help you understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface. The timeline you’re outgrowing, but still clinging to. (216)
If your life feels uncomfortable, uncertain, or like you don’t even recognize yourself right now, you are not alone. In this episode, we are diving deep into eclipse season, current planetary transitions, and the powerful identity shifts happening beneath the surface. So many women are being told to “manifest” during these cosmic seasons, but the truth is that eclipses are not about forcing outcomes. They are about realignment. They reveal what is no longer sustainable and invite you into a new version of yourself. And that process can feel confusing, emotional, and even destabilizing. In this conversation, we explore why you may feel stuck even though you know you’ve outgrown your old life, business, or identity. We talk about the subconscious patterns that keep you clinging to familiar timelines, the nervous system responses behind control and overworking, and why high-achieving women often struggle to let go of the very strategies that once made them successful. You’ll learn how trauma responses like hyper-independence, perfectionism, and constant productivity can block alignment, and why these patterns tend to surface during major astrology transits. This episode also unpacks the grief that comes with transformation, the emotional process of releasing old identities, and the uncomfortable “in-between” phase where you no longer fit your past but your future hasn’t fully formed yet. We also discuss practical tools to help you regulate your nervous system during periods of change, trust your intuition, and move through uncertainty without burning out. This is not about bypassing your emotions or rushing clarity. It’s about learning to build internal safety so you can expand into the life and leadership you are truly meant for. Whether you are navigating a career pivot, relationship shift, spiritual awakening, or business evolution, this episode will help you understand what is happening on a deeper level. You’ll walk away with insight, validation, and grounded guidance to support your next season of growth. If you’ve been feeling restless, disconnected, or called toward something new but don’t know what that looks like yet, this conversation will remind you that you are not broken. You are evolving. Topics covered include: Eclipse season and identity transformation Astrology and subconscious reprogramming Nervous system regulation during change Trauma patterns and hyper-independence Spiritual growth and emotional healing How to let go of old versions of yourself Intuition, alignment, and feminine leadership Navigating uncertainty in life and business If this episode resonates, share it with a friend who is also in a season of change and growth.

Your Nervous System isn't the enemy! How survival mode shapes your money, relationships, creativity, and success (215)
Good morning, my friends. Imagine for a moment that the thing holding you back is not a lack of willpower but an ancient, well-meaning bodyguard living inside you—your nervous system—whose single question is always, "Am I safe?" In this episode Aubrey Barr invites you into a quiet, radical reframe: the moments you call failure are often your body trying to keep you alive the only way it knows how. She begins with a plainspoken truth: most of the brilliant, driven women she works with are not lazy or broken. They have healed, sought guidance, and still hit a glass wall when visibility, rest, or receiving show up. Through intimate stories and clear examples, Aubrey shows how survival patterns—learned from childhood, burnout, postpartum seasons, and financial stress—live in memory and steer your habits, relationships, money, parenting, and creativity. Hear the four ways the nervous system shows up—fight (irritability and control), flight (busyness and distraction), freeze (procrastination and numbness), and the people-pleasing "fun" state—and recognize the ways those states have been useful and now hold you back. Listen as she traces these patterns through the lives of moms who carry everyone’s emotions, creatives who wait for permission, and business owners who undercharge and overdeliver—stories that will feel like looking in a mirror. Then Aubrey flips the script: regulation comes before manifestation. Safety comes before sustainability. Your body must believe expansion is allowed before the mind can follow. She brings this idea to life with a simple, grounding somatic practice—place one hand on your chest and one on your belly, slow the breath so the exhale is longer than the inhale, and whisper, "I am here. I am safe in this moment." That small act is described here as a teaching to your vagus nerve, a tiny but profound rehearsal for a new story. With warmth and gentle authority, Aubrey weaves personal confession, professional wisdom, and practical tools into a narrative that refuses to shame and instead invites transformation. She reminds you that your next level is rarely behind more discipline; it's on the other side of a body that believes you are allowed to be seen, to rest, to receive, and to expand. By the episode’s close you’ll carry a new vocabulary for your inner life—a different question to ask when you catch yourself thinking, "What is wrong with me?"—and a belief that nothing is wrong: your nervous system simply learned one chapter, and now it can learn another. Aubrey signs off with an invitation to update your body’s story and build without burning yourself down, leaving listeners both comforted and mobilized to begin the work of regulation and soulful expansion.
