Reviews of The Tragedy at Deer’s Creek, The Mermaid Mask and The Incident at Galley House

In our latest episode of the Adventure Games Podcast this time Laura Cress, aka “Cressup” takes over the podcast as she is joined by Kieran Childs, Johnny Nys and new joiner Vicky Sykes as they take a look at three recent mystery adventures. First up is The Tragedy at Deer Creek , a cinematic point-and-click adventure from Sparrowland. We head into a remote, abandoned logging camp with photographer Charlotte Gray, uncovering fragments of the lives and secrets of the people who once lived there. Next, we dive beneath the waves for The Mermaid Mask from SFB Games. Detective Grimoire and Sally find themselves investigating an impossible locked-room murder aboard a bizarre submarine, surrounded by a cast of eccentric suspects. Finally, we investigate The Incident at Galley House , from Evil Trout and William Rous. Something terrible happened at Galley House in 1936, and decades later we have access to a strange machine capable of revealing echoes of the past. Can we piece together what really happened? In the latest episode of the Adventure Games Podcast Matt Latham finally completes his takeover of the podcast while Seoirse is on holiday enjoying his 40th birthday.
